Glow Poi and the Taj

Sawadeecup

Finally had the chance to use a computer and upload pictures....

Our experience in Thailand ran the gammut from nervous shady situations, which I won't delve into here, to serene, peaceful and utterly relaxing times. Only two days were spent in polluted Bangkok where we visited the main Buddhist temple and rode around in Tuk Tuks taking in sights and exhaust fumes. 360 degree rainbow and some temple shots:

Chiang Mai lads singing to the Buddha:

North of Chiang Mai and just south of Burma, Pai was incredible. It is a very small town filled with health food restaurants, yoga studios and wide eyed travellers from every corner of the globe. We rented mopeds for a few days and cruised around town and the beautiful jungle mountains surrounding the area. The rice patty view from the porch of our bungalow, our favorite hang out Stone Free and two ragers:

After two full days of travelling from Pai to Chaing Mai to Bangkok to Surat Thani to Ko Samui to Ko Panghan, we reached the paradise that we called home for 9 days or so. We stayed at a place about 100 meters from the white sand beach called the JB Hut where we assembled quite the nice little family of people for the week. Did lots of sitting and lots of partying and lots of mopeding around the island. We both got to spin lots of fire at the Half Moon Party and on the beach where we were rewarded with bottomless drinks for our performances. It was awesome. We didn't get that many pictures beacause our dear french friend who we met up with in Chiang Mai was snapping beauties for two weeks straight. We will have access to all those within a few weeks and will share them then but here is a small taste.

The view from our bungalow, family from Russia, Australia and France, dreadies with our French friend, and us with the dearest Momma Bella who ran the JB Hut and was the possibly the nicest woman in Thailand.

In crazy and chaotic Hong Kong to put a cap on an absolutely delightful and enlightening few months. Excited to see the Rockies and all your beautiful faces....see you in a few days.

Thailand

We are alive and well. Having too good of a time to waste any in front of a computer screen. Spent a couple days in Bangkok, a couple in Chiang Mai and then traveled north near the Burnese border to an awesome small town called Pai. After that had nearly two full days of train, taxi and ferry travelling to get to the paradise that is Ko Phangan island. We have some good stories and pictures to be shared in the near future. Hope all is well. Love.
